Impala Impact was developed by DoDiversity, a research bureau specialising in inclusion, diversity and impact within cultural and social sectors.

DoDiversity as research engine

DoDiversity serves as the methodological lab, ethical framework and quality assurance within the Impala Impact ecosystem. This includes research design, scale validation, privacy architecture, AI models and instrument development.

Impala Impact is the scalable product. DoDiversity is the knowledge base.

Brian Doornenbal

Brian Doornenbal PhD

Data scientist specialising in inclusion, diversity and wellbeing. Develops scientifically grounded measurement instruments, applying and building AI and machine learning models. PhD from VU Amsterdam on social hierarchies and leadership.

Martin van Engel

Martin van Engel MSc

Expert in diversity and inclusion. Authored the UNESCO report describing the innovative power of The Culture. Member of the Netherlands National Commission for UNESCO, committee member at Fonds 21 and the Amsterdam Arts Council.

Long-term vision

Impala Impact aims to become the shared measurement system for cultural and social value in Europe. An infrastructure where communities are heard, policy improves, resources are distributed more fairly and innovation becomes visible.

Not as a commercial data extractor, but as a public digital infrastructure.
